In early 2015 Peter Rae Industries Ltd subscribed for a significant shareholding in Waitakere Mega Centre Ltd, a company formed to purchase the multi-tenanted retail plaza in Henderson.
The property comprises 42,500 sq. metres of prime freehold land and buildings offering over 18,000 sq. metres of net lettable area. Anchor tenants include Kmart, Briscoes, Rebel Sport, Kathmandu, City Fitness and Chemist Warehouse.
Peter Rae was appointed as a director of Waitakere Mega Centre Ltd.
In early 2018 the company completed the re-branding of the centre to “The Boundary” and the first stage of the redevelopment of the property, including upgrading of the Kmart and Kathmandu frontages and the installation of a travellator from the lower car park. Extensive landscaping, access and and roundabout improvements have also been completed.
